This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it. We believe trust is earned through transparency, so we have written this in plain language so you actually understand it.
The short version: Maggiz only collects what it needs to work. We never sell your data. We never use your business data for advertising. Your data is yours — always.
This policy applies to all users of Maggiz, whether you are based in India or anywhere else in the world. By using Maggiz, you agree to the terms described here.
Maggiz collects only what is necessary for the product to function. When you connect a data source — such as a Google Drive file, OneDrive spreadsheet, or an accounting software export — Maggiz reads your company business data. This may include revenue figures, expense records, cash flow data, and other business information in your connected files.
Important: Maggiz has read-only access. We never write to, modify, or delete your source files. Your original data stays exactly where it is.
We do not collect personal banking credentials, individual employee salary data, customer personal information, or anything beyond what is in the files you connect.
We use your data solely to provide the Maggiz service — to understand your business state, detect changes, answer your questions, run scenario simulations, and send you alerts when something significant changes. We do not use your data to train AI models, build advertising profiles, or for any purpose beyond delivering Maggiz to you.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties for commercial purposes.
The only exception is our use of AI providers — such as OpenAI — to power Maggiz's intelligence layer. When you ask a question or receive an insight, structured computed outputs from our finance engine are passed to these providers to generate a response. Your raw business data is never sent to AI providers. Only calculated metrics and scenario results are shared. Our AI providers are contractually bound to use this data only to provide their service to us.
We may also share data if required by law, or in connection with a merger or acquisition of THETA, in which case we will notify you in advance.
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Each business's data is strictly isolated — no cross-account access is possible. Maggiz's read-only access means we cannot modify your data. Access to our systems is restricted to authorised THETA personnel only.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account or request deletion, we will permanently delete all your business data within 30 days. You can request deletion at any time by emailing privacy@maggiz.com.
Regardless of where you are based, you have the right to access, correct, delete, and export your data. You can also object to certain types of processing or withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@maggiz.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Maggiz uses only essential cookies — for session management, preferences, and security. We do not use tracking, advertising, or third-party analytics cookies.

Maggiz is a decision intelligence platform that continuously understands your business data, detects what is changing, and explains what it means — so your entire team can make faster, more confident decisions at every level of the business.
Maggiz starts with financial data in its first version, but is built to grow into a full business decision layer — covering operations, growth, and strategy over time.
Maggiz is a decision support tool. It is not accounting software, financial advisory software, tax software, or a replacement for professional financial or legal advice. Any decisions made based on Maggiz's outputs are made solely at your discretion and your responsibility.
To use Maggiz, you must create an account. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, notify us immediately at support@maggiz.com.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account. THETA reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false or misleading information.
Maggiz is available on a subscription basis, billed monthly or annually depending on the plan you choose. By subscribing, you authorise THETA to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the start of each billing cycle.
All fees are stated in the currency applicable to your region at the time of purchase. Prices may change with 30 days advance notice. Continued use of Maggiz after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain access to Maggiz until then.
We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods unless required by applicable law.
You agree to use Maggiz only for lawful business purposes. You must not use Maggiz to process data that you do not have the right to access, to attempt to reverse engineer or extract the underlying technology of Maggiz, to interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of Maggiz, or to use Maggiz in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
THETA reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms.
You retain full ownership of all data you connect to or upload into Maggiz. By using Maggiz, you grant THETA a limited, non-exclusive licence to access and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Maggiz service to you.
We do not claim any ownership over your data. We do not use your data for any purpose beyond delivering Maggiz to you. When you close your account, your data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
Maggiz provides decision intelligence — not decisions. All outputs, insights, scenarios, and recommendations generated by Maggiz are for informational and support purposes only. They do not constitute financial, legal, accounting, or professional advice of any kind.
You are solely responsible for any business decisions made based on information provided by Maggiz. THETA accepts no liability for losses, damages, or consequences arising from decisions made using Maggiz's outputs, whether those outputs are accurate, inaccurate, complete, or incomplete.
You should always consult qualified professionals for financial, legal, or accounting matters before making significant business decisions.
THETA will make reasonable efforts to ensure Maggiz is available and reliable. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Maggiz may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
THETA is not liable for any losses caused by downtime, data processing delays, or service interruptions.
Maggiz, including its name, logo, product design, underlying technology, and all content created by THETA, is the intellectual property of THETA. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of Maggiz without our prior written permission.
THETA reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to Maggiz at any time if you violate these Terms of Service, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason with reasonable notice. You may also terminate your account at any time from your account settings.
Upon termination, your right to use Maggiz ceases immediately and your data will be deleted within 30 days.
We may update these Terms of Service as Maggiz evolves. When we make significant changes, we will notify you via email and display a notice inside the product. Continued use of Maggiz after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Maggiz shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

At THETA, security is not a feature — it is a foundation. Maggiz is built to handle sensitive business data, and we take that responsibility seriously. This page explains exactly how we protect your data, what measures we have in place, and how you can report a concern to us.
We are committed to being transparent about our security practices. If something is not yet in place, we will say so honestly rather than overstate what we do.
Maggiz connects to your data sources — such as Google Drive, OneDrive, or accounting software exports — with strictly read-only access. This means Maggiz can read and understand your data, but can never write to, modify, delete, or move your original files under any circumstances.
This is one of the most important security decisions we made when building Maggiz. Your source data stays exactly where it is, exactly as you left it. Maggiz only observes — it never touches.
All data transmitted between your device and Maggiz is encrypted in transit using TLS — the same standard used by banks and financial institutions worldwide. This protects your data from interception at every point of its journey.
All data stored within Maggiz — including your financial snapshots, computed outputs, and account information — is encrypted at rest. Even in the unlikely event of unauthorised access to our storage systems, your data cannot be read without the encryption keys.
Maggiz is built on a strict multi-tenant architecture. Every business's data is completely isolated from every other business on the platform. There is no technical pathway for one account's data to be accessed by another account — by design, not just by policy.
Access to Maggiz's production systems and your data is restricted to a small number of authorised THETA personnel who need it to operate and maintain the product. All internal access is logged and monitored. We do not grant broad access to production systems and review access permissions regularly.
Maggiz uses AI providers — such as OpenAI — to power the intelligence layer of the product. We have made a deliberate architectural decision to ensure your raw business data is never sent to these providers.
Only structured, computed outputs from our internal finance engine — such as calculated metrics, trend directions, and scenario results — are passed to AI providers to generate plain-language explanations. Your actual financial figures, spreadsheets, and source data stay within Maggiz's systems at all times.
All third-party providers we work with are vetted for security standards and are contractually bound to process data only for the purpose of providing their service to us.
